Union Bank of Cameroon has embarked on a branch expansion programme across the national territory. This drive is motivated by the need to better meet the aspirations of its valued customers. These new branches include Bonamoussadi (D'la), Mboppi (D'la), Ndokoti (D'la), Marché Central (Y'de), Mvog-Mbi (Y'de), Kumbo and Bafoussam. The opening of these branches is in line with Management’s revised strategy to reach Cameroonians nationwide through commitment to enhancing service delivery to consumers and meeting the ever-increasing demand for customer-oriented products and services that suit every personal and commercial initiative. It should be understood that, by its very creation (by the Cameroon Credit Union League) Union Bank of Cameroon enjoys the widest national coverage. There are plans therefore to open more outlets in many other rural and urban locations.
In addition to this branch opening, the bank is also rolling out a series of new products tailored to meet the needs of all its current and potential customers. These products which include the Quality Education Plan, Quality Life Scheme, UBC Pearl Account, UBC EasySave, UBC Pay Advance Salary Scheme and the UBC Executive Savings Account offer diverse banking solutions that do not only enable clients to acquire dream assets, but also afford them and their families a decent living, quality education, among others. Meanwhile, the bank has not spared any effort to get its latest technology working. This is to ensure interconnectivity between the various branches such that customers in any part of the country can carry out their banking transactions without having to move to the branches where they opened their accounts. Still in a bid to provide quality services to customers and keep them abreast of their transactions, the bank recently launched its T-Alert - e-banking service by which clients can get information on their account details anywhere, any time and at no cost.
