Union Bank of Cameroon Plc makes a Holy week stop over at Rhema Grace!! Print E-mail

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Union Bank of Cameroon last Thursday April 1st visited the Rhema Grace Orphanage to make some donations to its residents.
The centre, located at Ombe on the outskirts of Mutengene, South West region, was created about 12 years ago by Mrs Mercy Bate Tataw. The Ombe branch is home to some 60 children whose ages range from 03-20 years. The orphanage also has a primary and a secondary school where the children are taught mainly by volunteers who are missionaries, with a few employed staff, while a couple of these children are trained out of the centre, at the expense of the centre.
According to Rev. Ntoko Allen who heads the orphanage, some of these children found themselves at the centre at very tender ages with very complicated health conditions, and it is only thanks to some goodwill people and institutions like UBC that they have been able to survive and can hope for brighter days ahead.

UBC Opens New Branches!! Print E-mail

Union Bank of Cameroon has embarked on a branch expansion programme across the national territory. This drive is motivated by the need to better meet the aspirations of its valued customers. These new branches include Bonamoussadi (D'la), Mboppi (D'la), Ndokoti (D'la), Marché Central (Y'de), Mvog-Mbi (Y'de), Kumbo and Bafoussam.
The opening of these branches is in line with Management’s revised strategy to reach Cameroonians nationwide through commitment to enhancing service delivery to consumers and meeting the ever-increasing demand for customer-oriented products and services that suit every personal and commercial initiative.
It should be understood that, by its very creation (by the Cameroon Credit Union League) Union Bank of Cameroon enjoys the widest national coverage. There are plans therefore to open more outlets in many other rural and urban locations.
